We offer a reliable dog transport service, providing quality care and great communication, so you don’t need to worry!
A small family owned business based near Naracoorte SA,
Josh & Donna have had dogs for over 30 years and have transported hundreds of dogs since taking over the business nearly 12 months ago. We love dogs and give them the best of care while they travel to their new destination all the while having great communication with everyone involved.
We go as far as Gawler SA, near Adelaide, through Victoria, up across NSW, to Southern Queensland Roma. Each trip is determined by our bookings, of course not all locations can be covered each trip but we do our best. Our route is locked in a day or 2 before Josh leaves and the dog run starts.
Yes, if its along our route and we have a room available we are happy to do so. Contact Donna direct ASAP on 0400 274 052 to organise.
Generally we travel for 7-9 days, once or twice a month. Please contact us or visit our facebook page for updated dates.
Josh will contact you the day before to discuss meeting point, but somewhere along our route, low traffic with good parking, sometime a truck stop, big service station or Bunnings car park. If at home pick up is required, please discuss with Donna to quote.
We have a ute and trailer with individual air ventilated dog boxes and sugar cane mulch for comfort, which is changed when soiled. Small bred young pups, travel in a crate upfront with Josh in the ute on a padded mat. Long hair dogs also get a mat. These are cleaned when soiled and we try to have your dogs as clean as possible during the trip and on arrival.
They have access to water 24/7. Every evening Josh stops and takes the dogs for a walk and gives them their dinner. Sometimes they get an extra walk during the day and if you prefer they don't, please let us know. If the dog is uncooperative, excessive weight and cannot jump in and out of the box, we cannot take them out during the trip.
No we feed all the dogs Enduro dry food. If they need a special diet, please provide in a ziplock labeled bag and we are happy to feed them that. We cannot feed a raw diet.
Yes, we often transport young pups. They must be at least 8 weeks old, and no worming and vaccinations done within 48hrs of travel. They cannot have breakfast on the day of travel as they will get sick and vomit.
We are happy to pass on any paperwork and if we have room can include extra food, toys etc. We cannot include bulky items such as cages.
Yes each box is locked and secure all the time and Josh sleeps in a roof top tent on top of the ute boxes so he is never far away from your dog.
Depending on the distance and care needed... yes we have transported cats and small goats before
Yes, indeed we do. And even drop off at the airport if needed. To get a quote for flying , we need the breed, age and weight of the dog
We have transported a full range of breeds...from working dogs, hunting dogs and greyhounds to tiny dachshunds and cavoodles. As long as they aren't aggressive or a danger to anyone, and showing no signs of illness... we are happy to transport them. Owners of Brachyehalic breeds, must be aware of the risk of transportation and disclose if they have been treated for BAOS, respiracy issues or heat stress in the past.
